Really? Why remove the flashlight from Sense 4.0?

Can anyone recommend one that is just like the HTC one (with varying power levels)?

Must be part of the less bloatware program.

There are a couple better ones in the market than the stock one. MotoTorch LED and LED Light widget.

You had to download the flashlight app for the Evo 3D also.

Interestingly, this is not working for me. I created an account and verified it as it required. I am able to sign into the account on my desktop. But when I do the above, and click on "DOWNLOAD", it greys out the button for a second, than ungreys, doing nothing. No notifications, no app installed, no messages or anything. I tried rebooting the phone.... same thing.

go to settings, applications, check that box that says install from unknown sources. be default goolge only lets you install from the play store. this will let you install from everything

on a side note. 4 downloads, no thank yous? real nice if this was a torrent, id ban you for leeching

I might have been one of them, "but" - after downloading and installing, that flashlight apk wasn't fully functional on my phone. The on-screen flashlight button didn't work, wouldn't respond to any touch, so I uninstalled.

Still - thanks for making it available.

odd, sorry to hear. I on the other hand thought it was more responsive then ever. anyone else with the same issue?

Okay, tried again - reinstalled. Started tapping randomly around the screen and found the control button's "hotspot" is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch up and to the left of the on-screen button. When I tap in that spot it works fine. Weird but workable. Thanks again!

Guessing since this came from a 3D, maybe the flashlight image scales to the LTE's screen dimensions, but the button's numbers are a hard-coded distance from screen origin?
