I'd Like to know the trick where our old Evos had a proximity sensor for when you move the phone from your face during a call it would launchthe phone screen thus allowing you to hang up quickly. I can seen to find the option to turn that on, on the new Eco.

The one that everyone should know by now...

    * While holding down the POWER button, tap the HOME button to take a screenshot of the screen you're currently on. (The screen will flash and the message "screenshot saved to Camera shots" will appear on the screen to confirm the screenshot has been taken.)

ICS natively supports screen shots. Press and hold power and volume down and you get the animation and everything unlike pressing home.

I'm not sure if it's the screen protector causing it, but it just doesn't automatically turn on when I move my face away from the phone during a call. Never really knew how nice the feature was until not having it annoyed me, lol

Same here. Really annoying, especially when you want to hang up and have to unlock the screen to do it!

    From the User's Manual, p. 10:

Proximity sensor automatically switches the display screen off when you hold the phone near your face during a call. When activated, the proximity sensor does not affect the phone’s 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi connection.
If you want to use a screen protector, please don’t cover and block the proximity sensor. You can purchase the dedicated screen protector for your phone that already has a small opening for the sensor.

Like someone else suggested, it is probably the screen protector that's preventing the action from happening. If it is, then you may be able to uncover the sensor and recover functionality.

I believe that the 'folders' are about unending (or at least many more than you would need), just only 4 show

I'll be giving it a try tomorrow once I get a razor blade, hopefully that works, but the Zagg HD skin has a notch for it which makes it weird that it doesn't work.

Nice, thanks for that. I guess that was my point, they only show 4 icons or folders, but the amount of apps to add are unending.

In the productivity lock screen you can drag missed calls and emails into the lock screen and it will open them just just like the short cut apps.

16 is the most I have been able to get into one "folder." If you know how to get more, this is the right place to post it!

There are a couple of camera tricks I have found in several other posts.

    - You can turn off the 20 shot cap for the rapid shot feature to make it rapid shoot forever! Inside the camera app go to Options>Continuous shooting>Limit to 20 frames = off.

    - Also one of the shooting modes is Slow Motion! Press on the A in the camera app and it's the selection at the very top!

Even with the limit off I can't seem to get more than 30 or so pictures. Must have something to do with available ram perhaps, or maybe because I'm storing to sd card.

I'll give someone a $1 if they give me a trick on how to get the following widgets on the new EVO. Footprints & Notes. Can't find them in HTC Hub or anywhere else. Thanks.

The power + volume down doesn't work for me but the power + home does work for me to take screenshots.
