    Question Unlocking Bootloader Question

Yesterday, I had some down time so I followed the instructions via HTCDev.com and I got to the step where I had to find my "Android" file in my Program Files, but I could not find it. Is this because my Drivers did not install properly? Anyone have any thoughts or run into a similar situation?

Also, totally off topic, I received my EVO last Thursday, the 24th, I opened the Box and my phone was already turned on, anyone else's phone on when they received it?

    Thanks in advance!

I did not, I am guessing that it a step that I skipped. I will have at it again tonight.

    I don't know why I didn't see that on the website..hmm.

Off to the right at the beginning of the instructions it says this:
    Required Resources
Please make sure all items are installed and up to date.
    Google Android SDK zip:

    Java Runtime Environment:

    HTC Sync (Windows Only):
It's easy to skip over since it's not clear that those are actually part of the instructions.

Also, keep in mind that when you unlock the bootloader it will do a factory reset on your phone, so do whatever backing up you need to do before getting started. I didn't realize that until the very last step so I lost all of my set up and had to reinstall all of my apps.

    Very Important:
There is a chance that this will permanently disable secure NFC aka wallet.
Read up on the dev forums how to first reset wallet.
Do not hard reset before you do the above.
