Paying with google wallet

Okay well I know many of us can't get our google wallet accounts to work in general...

But when it does start working, I wanted to know if you could use your google wallet money (pre-paid card) to purchase apps.

According to google wallet you can use it.. But when I went to the play store on my computer to purchase an app, it asked me to enter a credit card .

Does this mean you can't use pre-paid money?

the pre paid card only works for NFC/Paypass transactions.

While play store technically is accessing the debit/credit cards from taht same google wallet account, it doesn't let you use the pre paid card.


I know that money is money and spends the same either way, but I believe the choice is intentional to spur NFC/paypass transactions.
