My phone no longer automatically connects to the mobile network when I turn off wifi the way it used to. I have to manually turn it on now. Is there a setting for the this?

I've been having this probably as well but since launch. Just another bug to put on the long list of issues.

As a first step, be sure "Mobile Network" is set to ON in Settings -> Wireless & Networks. Otherwise try a restart.

Ugh! I did have that setting off. It's working now. Duh! Does having that turned on all the time consume more power if the wifi is connected?

this. keep the mobile network on. as you switch from wifi the Evo will handoff between the 2 data services

My mobile network keeps turning off by itself. Any apps to keep it on. Been searching the internet and play store without success yet. Thanks.

You may want to try a reset it works for other issues...:thumbup:

I have 2 EVO LTE's, today my phone setting was on LTE/CDMA, the other day my wife's went from CDMA to airplane mode. Last week hers went to wifi from CDMA. Any way of fixing this? Anyone experience this?
