Can't clear voicemail notification

So I can't seem to clear the Voicemail notification on my Evo LTE. I've tried leaving a new message, calling, and deleting, I've tried deleting every message I have. I just can't get the notification to clear for days now. When I go into settings, the option to clear the notification is grayed out as well.

Any advice? It's getting annoying.

Perform a software hard reset. Hold the power button down for 10 seconds. This cleared up a nagging voicemail icon I had over the weekend.

That did it, thanks! I hand't done the 10 second restart yet, just the standard reset, and that hadn't worked. Funny how stupid things like that can be frustrating.

wow, that's great to know, last time this happened to me, sprint rep just hard reset my phone. i had to spend couple hours to reset everything myself.
