Just bought a Evo lte. Recommend assecories?
Like a case or good screen protector? Otterbox a good choice?
I was thinking about getting this for a screen protector?

I haver the Otterbox Commuter and really like it. I don't really care for the belt clips and the Defender looked just a tad bulky to me. The Commuter comes with (1) screen protector that actually seems pretty nice. I also got the Sprint car dock and the phone with the Commuter on it fits nicely. About $35 ea at the Sprint Store, but you get 20% off if you buy them together.

First things I got was my steinheil ultra crystal screen protector and also casemate "barely there" thin case. My evo 3d charging dock from mugan works/fits perfectly with my evo lte with the case on. So great I don't need to buy a new dock.

Has anyone tried the case featured in Android Centrals deal of the day? I have only seen 2 reviews and they were not very good. Any input would be appreciated!

How did you get your phone to fit with the case in the dock? I also have the commuter, but the rubber part that protects the charging port made it impossible to get to the phone to slide into the dock without a whole lot of effort. Ended up returning my dock. If you have a trick to it that doesn't involve removing that part of the case, I may grab another dock...

Why would you need a screen protector when the Otterbox Defender for EVO4G LTE come with it built in?

The body glove? If so I have one and I like it, not to bulky and I think it protects the phone perfectly, have had 3 drops already all on hard surfaces and case did its job
but I sure didn't get it for 16.xx, almost double that, so good deal

Re: Just bought a Evo lte. Recommend assecories?
Hello, I recently bought the Seidio Active case for my EVO and I cound't be happier, it's thin which doesn't add the bulk, the rubber has a great soft touch feel to it and allows for great grip. I have dropped onto hardwood floor and not a scratch on the phone or the case. The case looks good on the phone as well and doesn't take away much of the persona of the phone.
I have a buddy of mine who got the same phone and has an Otterbox Commuter case, also a great case, doesn't add much bulk and seems to provide great protection. Feels good in the hand and has a textured back that allows for good grip. Looks great on the phone too.
Hope this helps some, good luck finding what you want...Thank You, Come Again! - 07-20-2012, 12:52 AM #15
