I haver the Otterbox Commuter and really like it. I don't really care for the belt clips and the Defender looked just a tad bulky to me. The Commuter comes with (1) screen protector that actually seems pretty nice. I also got the Sprint car dock and the phone with the Commuter on it fits nicely. About $35 ea at the Sprint Store, but you get 20% off if you buy them together.

First things I got was my steinheil ultra crystal screen protector and also casemate "barely there" thin case. My evo 3d charging dock from mugan works/fits perfectly with my evo lte with the case on. So great I don't need to buy a new dock.

Has anyone tried the case featured in Android Centrals deal of the day? I have only seen 2 reviews and they were not very good. Any input would be appreciated!

How did you get your phone to fit with the case in the dock? I also have the commuter, but the rubber part that protects the charging port made it impossible to get to the phone to slide into the dock without a whole lot of effort. Ended up returning my dock. If you have a trick to it that doesn't involve removing that part of the case, I may grab another dock...

Why would you need a screen protector when the Otterbox Defender for EVO4G LTE come with it built in?

The body glove? If so I have one and I like it, not to bulky and I think it protects the phone perfectly, have had 3 drops already all on hard surfaces and case did its job but I sure didn't get it for 16.xx, almost double that, so good deal

I cut the rubber flap for the port off, doesn't bother me. Someone else, who didn't want to cut the flap, used a dremel and carefully dremeled the front "lip" of the dock just enough to be able to "flip" the rubber flap over and it would sit in the recess made with the dremel. I don't know which forum it was posted in, but they had pics and it looked like it fit well.

Hello, I recently bought the Seidio Active case for my EVO and I cound't be happier, it's thin which doesn't add the bulk, the rubber has a great soft touch feel to it and allows for great grip. I have dropped onto hardwood floor and not a scratch on the phone or the case. The case looks good on the phone as well and doesn't take away much of the persona of the phone.

I have a buddy of mine who got the same phone and has an Otterbox Commuter case, also a great case, doesn't add much bulk and seems to provide great protection. Feels good in the hand and has a textured back that allows for good grip. Looks great on the phone too.

Hope this helps some, good luck finding what you want...
    Thank You, Come Again!

I'm planning on heading to BestBuy tomorrow to buy that 26$ Zagg HD protector. I had the regular one for my original EVO, & it seemed effective. Any opinions on if the 'HD' one is really worth the extra moolah?

You can get 3 screen protectors for.around $5.00 shipped from eBay. The quality is identical to what stores sell as far as I can tell

Well I know trying to put that sucker on was to difficult of a task for me, but I hear everyone swearing by them that's why I thought I needed one. Why do you think it's garbage?

So I was just robbed by BestBuy. 8$ for them to put on my Zagg HD cover! At least I can barely tell it is even on my screen! Pretty crazy, but wow what an improvement over the old one on my old EVO..
