Twiter problems

Two days ago I bought the Evo 4g Lte.

Its been doing fine other than I no longer receive twitter alerts via text messaging. I went back to the Sprint store and they say my phone is working fine. They did say that sense they are upgrading to 4g that some texting can be slow. Before I upgraded to this phone I would get 100 or so tweets daily. Now I get nothing. The Twitter app works fine. Could someone explain what is going on? Could Sprint have twitter block in my area?

You're still getting tweets, just not the texts notifying you of them? Are all other texting services working?

Yes I do get other texts, just not my tweets. I do know I have another 10 days to work this out otherwize they will get this phone back.

I have heard that you can retire old clients on the twitter web page and that can fix some notification problems. No idea if it would impact SMS but it is probably worth a shot.
