Htc Evo lte 4g screen problem

during a call my phone locks and as soon as i touch the screen it automatically locks by its self
is anyone having the same problem
i cant multitask during a call
please help

Hard Reboot usually fixes up problems like that. Just hold down your power button til the phone reboots itself.

If you're referring to (lock) screen going black and not turning back on...

I had the same issue. I took my phone into the Sprint Repair Center, and they determined I had a bad prox/light sensor. I had a new EVO LTE a couple of days later. 2nd LTE has performed like a champ.
