I'm guessing they took the code from other HTC phones and implemented it into their custom ROMs. I don't think it's ever been on an HTC One X class phone.

Some posts I read - on XDA I think - said the feature was in the HTC code but not enabled. ROM dev(s) can enable if they want. This might have been ref. to the leaked version of Sense 4.1, don't know if official One X release has the feature enabled by HTC or not. I do know I'm not seeing anything different in Notifications area on my stock phone.

    Thank you Lord !!

That heavy vibrate was so annoying and actually disturbing others around when I would try to check something in quiet

I wish I could disable it completely

Do I need to disable Nova Launcher to experience Sense 4.1 ??

I like the density of icons I can place with Nova over Sense default... and vary to come back to Sense... any ideas ?

So far I am noticing this as well. I'm surprised not more people are commenting on this improvement. It's very much a welcomed fix.

You can disable it by going into settings. Tap the sound option and scroll all the way down to the bottom of that screen. Un-check vibrate feedback, and it will stop vibrating when you touch the capacitive buttons on the bottom.

Not that it really matters but my Quadrant score increased by over 500 with the update.

Ugh, after the download, mine never proceeds past the "verifying package" step... Help?

Downloaded and working. Network swapping seems faster. Between home and work I go from wifi>4g>3g> wifi. Used to hang somewhere along the line. Now I've done the run 2 times and it's swapping normal.

I don't see an update. Is it a system or firmware update?

It isn't a firmware update, it's an HTC software update.

Yep did that, clicking on the download complete just kept sitting in the endless "verifying" Window. Finally went back to "HTC Software Update" (as if to download again) then it started applying the update.

So far not much of an improvement on multitasking for me. Switching between email, Dolphin and the AC app after 15 seconds of being away from an app it reloads the page.

Anyone get these strange text after the update?

My multitasking works like it should. there is no page reloading here. The screen sometimes blinks when switching between apps, but it doesn't reload like it used to. I'm now able to have several apps all running at the same time and I can switch between them and each app has continued its processing in the background. With the new full screen without the 3 menu dots I'm very happy.

I got one of those, I thought it was very strange it showed up in my Handcent log but not in Google Voice inbox, as I have that integrated.
