Has anyone with unlocked bootloader and root run this update? Did it fail or run and relock the bootloader? Reinstalling root is no problem, but unlocking the bootloader again causes a full wipe... don't want to deal with that...

I flashed the stock recovery. Downloaded the ota. Installed. Bootloader was still unlocked.

I don't know the method of unlocking you.used. I did the HTC official way.

Download quick shortcuts and you will be able to find all the HTC hidden apps and download them and get the icons.

I used the HTCdev unlock, so the official way... then did a fastboot to twrp and installed SU... nothing past that.

So I assume if I do the OTA it might fail because I am rooted, no biggie, can uninstall that.. but other than that, it shouldn't blow up the phone?

No, look in the notification area. There is some sort of battery app running in the background.

Are you talking about top left? I have that also, mine is simply called battery widget. If that's the same one I have, which it looks like it is, it's a good one.

    Pulled this from xda...

if you DO have a custom recovery: (i flashed stock recovery, then rebooted phone, ota root keeper used, accepted ota update-installed fine, used ota root keeper to restore root-worked fine, then using goo manager reinstalled open recovery-script to get my recovery back)

If you DO NOT have custom recovery, installed root keeper to backup root, did OTA update, ran root keeper restore after to reinstall root

    good to go.

Not sure IF this was mentioned or if it's SwiftKey3 not the update

But now when you compose a text in the menu there's a font size choices and it stays that size

In the settings /display, gestures there's now a font size to change every font on your phone

Changes the size of the time on top too
Its automatically set to medium that's why some have notice your contact info on phone calls looks bigger

Has not done it once since the update. Here's hoping...
You know that you can pinch in and out to change sms font size, right? I actually just realized that the other day.

Yeah, none of my custom ringtones work any more. It defaults to my default ringtone. They are all still listed under each contacts name but they don't work.
Anybody else having this issue now?

Have you tried assigning the contact the default ringtone and then re-assigning the custom one?

I have found several other minor bugs.

    1) The People widget hangs up when tapping on a person.
    2) The Gmail app hangs up when trying to enter a name in the To field. Usually once you enter several letters, you get a list, but it seems to take forever for that list to pop up.
