Gmail app since update

Since today's update, when starting a new email in the Gmail app, when I start typing a message to a contact (of course someone in my address book) it doesn't pull up their name at all.. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem since the update?

Works fine for me. Clear out your Gmail cache? And maybe data too if that doesn't work?

Okay this is just weird. Hadn't been working since the update, and the first time I try after posting above, and it started working. Thanks anyway, but...
