Default Just Purchased the HTC EVO 4G LTE in white :P

So my employer gave me the option of either the evo 4g lte and the SGSIII
i decided to go with the Evo i hope it was the right decision..

although im worried about when LTE will be in my area, i live in south florida so i'm sure we will be an area of high priority for sprint but i can't wait..

Any thoughts on evo 4g lte vs the GSIII?
any tips and tricks with the evo?
I have used Touchwiz before but have always liked sense better.

Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

I love my LTE. Although the S3 is a great phone, I did not like the home button. I have long been a sense fan, but installed Nova Launcher Prime and love that more. Also recently switched from GoSMS to Chomp - all the features without the bloat. Good luck with your new phone! I think you'll be quite happy with it.

Thanks, I agree with you, i think the S3s home button shouldn't be there, it feels awkward pressing it

Don't know if you use screen protectors or cases, but I would recommend xtremeguard (wet application) and Diztronic Tpu. I've used Zagg and Skinomi, but the xtremeguard self heals where the others don't. Diztronic has a great feel to it and is so slim that you hardly notice it.

Set your network to cdma only unless you're able to receive Lte.
Set your wifi to 2.4ghz only (or whatever works. Auto setting will cause your wifi to drop.

If you have to ever factory reset, be sure to clear out your Google wallet first. By not doing this, you will disable the function.

If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. Hope this helps.

Wow I should take your advice but I kinda like 5G cause it give me LTE like speed but 2.4G only give me like 7 to 11mbps

The wifi thing may be true for some but mine is on auto and my wifi never drops. Leave it alone unless you have a problem.

That's why I said "whatever works." Auto has caused problems for many.

Unless you have any intention of rooting.

This signature will default back to the stock signature after the next flash.
Why do I bother changing it in Tapatalk?

I have had the evo 4g lte since June and I love it . My wife has the GS3 and hers has more little gimmicks on it my evo seems to load faster on web pages and the evo just feels better built but the GS3 is a good phone to . I think when the evo gets jellybean it will really be an awesome phone .
