As far as I know they will reveal a new w8 device and some other goodies, no word about software updates .

It's not that they have to hand out Jelly Beans in person... and I am working from home, hence not in NYC.. it will really suck if they gave away Jelly Beans for my phone..

Will be great if they announced LTE coming to NYC though

I feel pretty secure in saying that we will not get any news about Jelly Bean from the announcements from today. 1. Most of it already happened. It was a small event, although those win phone 8 devices look pretty nice.
2. There's no reason for companies to dilute the announcements by making a totally unrelated one at an event that small.
We'll get the news in the form of a press announcement when it happens. Probably shortly after they announce the date for JB on the One X.

When I saw the thread title of this, I got my hopes up like crazy.....

I doubt we will get any OFFICIAL announcement on Jellybean from HTC or Sprint....until the morning it releases. Just like with this most recent update. I've already tried contacting HTC about this and am getting the same run around from them as before. They'll state what we already know about for the One X...then neither confirm or deny whether the Evo LTE will get it.
