This isn't necessarily just for our phone (Evo 4G LTE) however I figure since I own it, and the solution may be singular to this phone, I'm posting this question here.

How the heck do you paste something into the Google Translate app, say for example copying something from a text or email? I can't for the life of me figure out how to paste into (or cut from) the Translate app to allow it to show.

Please advise...

(I'm gonna feel so dumb if I missed some easy task, or over thought this too much...)

I just opened an email, long pressed in the text to get the selection markers visible, stretched them to select the desired text, pressed the copy icon at the bottom (looks like 2 piece of paper), opened Translate, long pressed in the text input area, selected paste.

I have tried that, but get no option to paste in Google Translate.

Ok nevermind I figured it out. I was hitting the check mark instead of copy, thinking it had the same effect. And to think, I wasn't even drunk.
