HTC nexus 5 vs. Ego 4g LTE

If this turns put to be true would you jump ship from the ltevo? Personally I would in a heartbeat though 5 inches is pretty big. The appeal of an HTC nexus device is hard to resist.

I would consider it since I've been wanting to get a Nexus device but when it came time to update the current Nexus was already outdated, not only that but it feels really cheap. The ELTE and my hand aren't that compatible since it's just too big. I think the size of the old EVO was perfect.

I would probably jump, if i was able. HTC builds the most solid devices in my opinion. To have an HTC built Nexus would be great. I'd have to sell my Evo LTE though.

Nope, EVO4GLTE is an excellent phone - still smooth as silk and does all I ask of it. May honestly hold on to this thing for 2 years, depending how smooth it's running next summer, and how cool its successors look

The only real reason to jump ship is the Google support for updates. Also, the stock google experience is nice.

Eh....as much as I'm having my gripes with HTC leaving us Evo LTE user in the dark regarding our updates....I'd myself would be sticking with it. It's going to take something really really good to come out to make me switch to another phone without an upgrade.

Agreed, hardware at this point doesn't matter as much as guaranteed updates from big G.
