Landscape issues
Hi there.
I just got my third EVO 4g LTE. The first ones battery shorted out and the second was stolen. I love this phone and I don't care what anyone says, its the best on the market. However, I've noticed a problem with this one right out of the box and its a bit irritating.
At night, I like to turn my auto-rotate off, because I look at my phone at weird angles and I want it to stay in portrait mode. This worked fine before, but on the new phone, turning off auto-rotate locks the entire phone into landscape- including the homescreen.
This is awesome for car docks and desk tops... But NOT awesome for facebook in bed. Yes- the phone no longer rotates but I can no longer use this option to lock the phone into portrait mode. Is this a known glitch? A new feature? What do I do??
Btw- this is a brand new replacement phone. It is not rooted. I do have tasker but I lost all of my tasks so its essentially doing nothing. - 10-28-2012, 10:49 AM #2
