Even without confirmation of an install I still did my hourly check for update (tick) I have developed. The only difference is I turned on Chariots of Fire and did it in slow motion.. To no avail. Still didn't have one. Special thanks to Phil though. Love that guy.

It seems that HTC doesnt make it easy to find the EVO LTE on their webpage so I am wondering how much they care about this phone.[...] It kind of bothers me how long it takes to find the EVO LTE on the HTC webpage.
?? I went to htc.com, clicked on support, scrolled down to HTC Evo 4G LTE, and done. How is that hard to find? Took me about 10 seconds...

I was told by one of the in store sprint techs that I have known for a long for a long time that Jelly Bean was supposed to be up on HTC.com so I have been looking. It seems that HTC doesnt make it easy to find the EVO LTE on their webpage so I am wondering how much they care about this phone. They may have pulled the update too because I couldn't find the old updates for a while yesterday either. But no the Jelly Bean update has not been on there. It kind of bothers me how long it takes to find the EVO LTE on the HTC webpage.
Go to www.HTC.com/us. I don't see any jelly bean info yet

So true. With Phil on board it got some head-honcho juice.

Now if we can just get Jerry in here for awhile it may become an all-time epic thread.
So classic. I'm having this thread stitched onto a throw pillow for my rec room.

That must be brand new because it was not like that yesterday. The LTEVO was pretty much non-existent on the HTC site when I checked yesterday afternoon.

I wonder if this update will include the HD voice feature with it? I don't recall it ever being initiated and remember reading somewhere that they were shooting for a release before the end of the year.

Well, it looks exactly the same to me as it did a few months ago when I last visited. Of course, maybe it was accidentally deleted or that part was undergoing maintenance when you tried to access it yesterday. Who knows.

    I couldn't agree more!

    This thread is absolutely stupid.
    It is useless.
It is a waste of time.
It contains endless speculation, and unconfirmed statements.
It has been wrong more than right.
It has more drift than you can shake a stick at.

And I can't wait to read more of it....

Just keeping everyone in the loop it's all probably stuff that we've heard already before

Thanks for contacting HTC Technical Support Center in regards to knowing when are the updates going to be available.

Travis; we know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Googles latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.

In regards to the ringtones on your HTC EVO 4G LTE, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, Timothy. We understand how frustrating is not to be able to customize the ringtones with your contacts. This option was disabled with the last software update. If you have an EVO 4G LTE, an update for this device is currently under development in order to fix the issue. You will receive the update notification or manually check for updates and pull the update. Once you have the update installed, all the custom ringtones assigned to contacts will then work. Here at HTC, we are working hard in order to launch the update as soon as possible.
