Just wanted to check if others have this issue. Every now and then, my EVO seems to hang or freeze up the data connection (mobile or WiFi) while trying to retrieve data. This doesn't seem to be app specific (happened in browser, ScoreCenter, Soundhound, and others). The rest of the phone seem to work during this time, and data activity comes back after a while. This is not during backgorund downloads or anything like that, also seems to be independent of syncing behaviors (at least independent of the sync icon being spent in the notification bar).

I don't remember this behavior on other Android phones I've had, including Nexus S and both prior EVO phones, but it's been while since I had those.

Do you have LTE ? if not do you have the radio off...just a thought

That has happened to me a few times ,I did a back up then a full reset. It fixed the issue for me.:thumbup:
