I have a Canon Pixma 5220 and it works well with the Android app over WiFi.

Strictly for photos only (as it uses 4x6 paper size only), the Canon Selphy CP900 is great. Print quality is superb. Unfortunately, the Canon printing app for Android hasn't been updated to include support for it yet so can't do wireless Android printing to it now. According to their website, they will update the app to include that functionality in December so the feature should arrive shortly.

In the meantime, with an SD card slot in the printer all you need is a full size adapter for the micro SD slot and you can print directly from it. I currently bring it to family events and print photos directly from my camera with it as it also has a USB slot for cameras and flash drives.
