Huge mms compression after jelly bean update

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but before the update I didn't have a problem sending screen shots through mms bow you can't even make out the words in a screen shot sent by mms.

Ok I've narrowed it down to screen shots taken on the phone I can send pictures taken with the camera just fine.

I have the same issue as well. My screen shots were very grainy and I swear the other pics I send are lower quality than before.

The resolution has changed a little but they still send full screen to other users but the change to the screen shots are horrible they might only take up half the screen.

you guys had this issue after the jellybean update? I've had this issue since I bought the phone! My screenshots allllllllllllways appear blurry if i send them as a text, if i send it as an email they are fine. This is a huge issue! I was hoping the jellybean update may have fixed it but not at all..

I was able to send screen shots via MMS prior to update that were legible. Now there is no way to read a screen shot of a text conversation.

Is there an email for HTC to report issues?

I bet its supposed to do that, so you don't mistake your screen shot pic for your actual home screen.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Just as I'm coming to grips with the battery issue too. Having the EVO 4g LTE and ICS before the update, the quality degradation is now embarrassingly bad when sending mms pictures and yet I still receive sharp pics from my wife's iPhone 4s. Just add it to the list of stupid problems from the JB "update".

That sounds like a hard reset fix my pics are Crystal clear no matter what I'm using for text, email, etc!

I have the MMS compression problem with stock messaging, not with Handcent tho.

Have same issue. My screenshots sent thru text looked very clear before. Now they look like I have a cheap azz phone and my wife teases me now cause she has an iPhone with clear screenshot pics....smh

Very annoying....had friends saying I can't read your screenshot so I checked and yes....same problem here..it looks good but I send it mms and then something happens where it looks like garbage ...

Does anything fix this? It seems to be only screen shots that have this problem. I send pics of screen shots for work and this is definitely a problem for me

I only have this issue when using stock messaging. Does not happen when using Chomp.

Go SMS, MMS settings and check box that says preserve image resolution and voila, no more screen shot MMS problems.

I'm talking about Go Sms, not stock. Stock doesn't have the option to preserve image resolution.

Ok... So before the update if u took a screen shot and sent it mms stock the pic was fine... Now since the update when u take a screen shot and send that screen shot through stock mms the pic is garbage! Is there no way to fix this? This is the worst thing for me about the update because I send screen shots a lot... I guess we have to wait and see.
