evo lte will not connect in lte/cdma mode

Had the phone about 2 weeks now when I first got it I had great 4g signal since then the phone has been rooted and has a Rom flashed running sinister LTE v8 atm and ever since I rooted it 4g went down hill to where I have none I put it in LTE/cdma and don't even get 3g have to run cdma only to connect to 3g I've googled the crap out of this issue to no avail and I'm sure it will be said its a tower issue but my wife is on the same phone but its stock and gets great 4g signal I've tried different roms profile and pro updates with no luck

It sounds as though you have answered your own question. There is no sure fire way to predict how a phone and its radios will respond when no carrier software is installed. You need to go back to stock and see if the problem persists, if it does then the problem is with the phone and you need to unroot and return to store, if the problem is fixed then the issue is with the software from root not working.
