Using Earbuds

Hi all! I have a question, i am using These earbuds (SHE9005A/28) There is a philips app that allows customization of the button on the mic. How do I disable the stock android/htc commands? (i.e redial, voice search) please help

I took some time to look at the manual not one mention of headphones or any variation or voice search. Second set of eyes no help.
