HELP! Trouble with pics - HTC Evo & Windows 8

Help! I recently purchased a laptop and uploaded all of my pics from my HTC EVO 4G LTE onto my laptop....however, i am unable to view them in windows 8. The files uploaded as .raw files and I can't view them. I can see them just fine on my phone. Am I missing drivers or software? Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Any help will be very much appreciated!

Not sure how you are transferring them over, but you may want to try using HTC Sync Manager. It will help auto backup your pictures to your computer as well as other things.
