Adding folder with ES File Explorer

I added a new folder to ES File Explorer but it will not show up in my picture 'Gallery'. I went to the gallery settings to 'show' it and it is not even listed there.
I have it within another folder in ES File Explorer with other folders that do show up in the Gallery.
What am I missing here?

Your gallery might not the best for media scanning (indexing).
Try QuickPic as gallery.

BTW, after restarting your phone your stock gallery will show the folder too.

Thing is, the gallery has been working just fine for this till now. Maybe it update and screwed itself up, dunno.
I have restarted phone several times.

Tried you unistall and reinstall the gallery's updates yet?

If you can't solve your issue then try QuickPic, it's really a good gallery.

Sorry, but I've to ask: Have you pics in the new folder?
And isn't there a file named ".nomedia" in the new folder?

Ya know it really helps when you create a new folder, if you PUT PICTURES IN IT!!!!!!!!!

LOL, was going to ask that. But I would have said it much nicer.
