Hey guys! I'm new to the forum, and didn't see a familiar post to my problem upon searching.
So to dive right into it, my phone lost sensitivity in the very middle of the screen. It's a small line across (right where 'SEND' is while writing a text message). If I try to scroll, it pauses at that portion of the screen (horizontal line across the screen, not verticle) and upon continuing will begin to follow again. It started working for about one session of text messaging, but began to fail again almost immediately after. It works in sliding horizontally on the main screen, which is also strange.
This started happening around the same time I used the system update. Also, if it matters, my volume + button does not respond at all, while my volume - button does.
Boo me and whatever I did.
(Additional info: I have not downloaded any apps at all in the last 45 days or so, and have not dropped my phone or done anything to show significant damage to the phone.)
