Ok after testing pb22- I went to start a movie on Netflix... It doesnt work! I thought EVERYTHING was working on the past builds?? Am I missing something..

How does the Evo not have video showing on Netflix?

Netflix video hasn't been working since one of the early alphas. With the addition of the hacked hardware acceleration and OpenGL drivers, the video rendering has become unstable. Since we still lack compatible kernel source for ICS, and there will never be an official ICS kernel for the EVO, the devs are doing their best with what we do have. This is still a work in progress, thus why it's still in pre Beta status.

I haven't flashed pb22 yet but I'm running into the dreaded 9016 VVM mms issue. This ROM doesn't included Sprint VVM to unsubscribe from these damn messages. regular voicemail working fine and showing notifications, but also sends a text with voicemail notifications. Suggestions?

The generally accepted way is to use an SMS app like GoSMS and blacklist the number. GoSMS runs circles around the stock SMS app anyway, it's fantastic.

Is anyone else having horrible battery life and constant voicemail error pop ups? Besides that the rom is great. I upgraded from an Alpha build and it's much more stable. I'm so glad the camera is working. In the Alpha build it would freeze the phone and you'd have to take the battery out.

i uninstalled voicemail app, no more errors, but no voicemail notification when new message is received. pb22 is more stable, kinda laggy even with gov set to lagfree. great rom still. would like to see voicemail notification without running app. App causes all hell.

Are there any more releases....I wanted to report back bc I use telenav and when multiple processing takes place my phone reboots....the more I use it the more frequent the reboot....is there another ROM that has this look without the reboot; cameras, and video works?? I like this but the reboot are happening when most needed?

Getting random FC's. My Google Play Store and Google Maps isn't working, which really sucks right now. Phone sucks so bad since the last pb that I almost considered getting a GNex tomorrow. Any fixes for the Google Play/Maps errors?

Did you flash a gapps file when you flashed the ROM?

No, I haven't flashed GApps since the alpha 7 ROM. I can tolerate TeleNav while Google maps is down, and I probably can sub in AppBrain for Google play, just need this phone to hold up until the new Evo is released.

Try a full wipe and re flash the ROM. See what that does. I'm just waiting on my Galaxy Nexus to arrive at the store.

just installed this rom (pb23) and im just curious if the built in android wireless tethering will be detected by sprint and cost me money. Im wondering because i cant seem to get the wireless tether app i have used before to work and i use tethering a lot.

Love the ROM but when I flashed, I ended up unrooted somehow! Is the ROM unrooted? Is there a way to install a persistent root on the EVO? Pardon my questions, I just upgraded from a persistently rooted LG Optimus S. Thanks in advance for any help on these questions.

I can guarantee that this ROM didn't unroot your phone. Did you by chance delete Superuser? Are apps like Root Explorer and Titanium Backup not being granted SU permissions?

SO my evo is rooted. I backed up my stock rom using nandriod backup.
When on my stock rom i have 3g Service using PRL 60687 or 61087 or 21087.
when i switch over to my ICS supersonic-ota-eng.deck-pb25 biuld I LOSE 3g. I live in PHX where we dont even have 4g service but I at least need 3G!

All I can think of would to flash back to a Sense ROM and update your Data Profile and PRL then do a fresh flash of this ROM. Alao make sure you have the latest radio zip flashed so your device has the best chance of getting a good connection.

I would say you would still need a better Kernel source first.
