ROMs won't leave white boot up screen

I've tried a few different ROMs and continue to have the same issue where I never leave the white screen.

I have the following:
Rooted with Revolutionary
Supersonic EVT3 Ship S-Off
HBoot-6.16.1002
MICROP-041f
Touch Panel -ATMELC03_16ac
Radio-2.15.00.0808
Mar 8 2011, 17:02:15

Before installing the ROM from my SD card - i perform all 3 wipes (data, cache, and delvik)

Once I install the ROM and reboot - I get the white boot up screen and it never leaves that screen. Luckily - I have a backup - I pull the battery - and am able to restore to the point prior to the ROM being installed - but I'm not making progress.

Go over to xda developers and look under apps in the forums...download the updated Amon-Ra recovery....once on your phone chage the name to PC36IMG.gnm then reboot into recovery....it ask if you want to change revories....say yes....you should be able to flash any rom with that
