unsafe to root if my phone keeps crashing?

I noticed on the revolutionary homepage that they say if my phone is crashing prior to rooting, the rooting it can cause a whole slew of bigger issues. I assume this is true, but can someone tell me what exactly will happen? My phone crashes unrooted.I uninstalled all of my apps that were not from reputable sources.

Have u tried resetting the whole phone via factory reset? That might help out.

I would take the phone in and have it serviced or replaced prior to rooting.....you want it functioning as close to possibly before rooting
