Ditto, CM9!!! It is supposed to have some really nice new features.

Once available, will you guys wait a week or so for bugs to get worked out...or will you jump in feet first once available?

Jumping right in! Its gonna be the closest ROM to stock. Others are nice but adds things I don't like.

I'm sure jumping in will be fun. I'm running the ics-deck-evo alpha 5 & it's a pretty fun preview of things to come.... & actually quite functional.

Running MikG now and it is clean, fast, and the best battery life I have had owning the phone. As well, EVERYTHING WORKS!

If you want a pretty solid (still beta though) Evo 4g ICS build try evervolv. They've done some pretty good work. the back camera and camcorder even works (though the camcorder needs work).

You can follow their work at @preludedrew on twitter. They aren't on xda.
The most recent build is this one.
    Code:
[Evo4G] 2.1.0 Preview7 -- http://t.co/nSzo86wo -- Partially working camcorder and auto brightness should work better now.
