sorry if my question sounds stupid, since I'm total rookie 4 root, but I don't really get ROM Manager part. I mean if ROM Manager is alternative 4 "evo recovery" in the toast method. Do I understand correctly? Anyone mind 2 explain a little more about what's advantage of this ROM Manager? Thank you

I agree, are there any good threads that can explain everything about rooting? All the terminology for example, I had to look up some term and it took me a while.

Here is a basic guide about rooting/roms.It doesn't have anything about rom manager.

Stil learn something, such as NAND backup, which i didnt understand what or why doing that.

I dont think its a problem, since, first, you just need to port PC36IMG.zip to your sdcard root folder and reboot to HBoot(boot loader), then you can use either ROM Manager or ADB to port recovery mode menu, then flash ROMs

WOW......12MANY you got an EVO....i used your roms on my BB Tour over on the other sites. Are you going to start making roms for the EVO? I'll definately be on that.

After a few seconds it will begin to checking for files, and find PC36IMG.zip. while its doing this it will show a blue progress bar while its checking. (this takes 30 - 60 seconds to finish)

This part is where I get stuck... it does NOT list the images. My screen doesn't look like the one on there either. Suggestions?
