FYI: To rotate before sending up to YouTube, I used a combination of "Free 3g Video Converter" from DVDVideoSoft (to convert to .avi) and Avidemux (to rotate). Both are for the PC and free. For some odd reason, Avidemux should do both but I can't get the sound right.
After converting, open .avi with Avidemux, say "yes" to the audio question and then use these settings:
Video: MPEG-4 ASP
Audio: MB3 (lame)
Click on Video --> Filters and double click the "Rotate" filter and enter 90 degrees (as appropriate)
When you do a File --> Save be sure to add .avi extension (or do it after the fact) as it doesn't add it by default.
Yeah that was a deal breaker for me. I don't care what people say bout the camera, a Wide Screen 8MP Camera with dual LED Flash comes in handy. I took pictures at a party yesterday and most of the came out nice, I didn't realize the flash was on "ON" instead of auto.
