Updated EVO and unrEVOked...

I'm a total nood when it comes to rooting so please bear with me...

I updated back on the 6/29 when I was prompted, can I still use unrevoked (or unrevoked3) to get wifi tethering and use titanium backup?

This is all I really want to do (for now at least)...tether every once and a while and be able to back up my phone.

If I can use unrevoked...which one is right for me, the original or unrevoked3?

I saw some tutorial videos on youtube and they don't show any plugging into PCs but I keep reading that you do. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my first android phone.

Check other posts for instructions, but yes unrevoked3 will do what you want. I did it yesterday and titanium and WiFi tether works like a champ.

One other question... odds it possible to undo the rooting if for some reason you need to return the phone for warranty purposes?

It's not outdated. All you have to do is download the appropriate RUU and follow the instructions to get back to stock. It's very straight-forward.

Just follow steps 1 - 13.

It works great too and very easy!! I jacked something up last night while trying to root and this fixed everything for me
