Proper Titanium use?

I just flashed my ROM for the first time today. All went well. I then restored using Titanium. However, I restored ALL user data and apps and that caused problems. After reading more I realized you should not restore whats in red. So that fixed my problems. But in doing that, I lost my dictionary of words I had been adding and some other things. So is there a proper way to get all the data or a way to get just that back or what?

I believe MyBackup lets you back up everything.
