    Default Tried everthing still cant root my Evo 4g

    I have a buddy who has tried everthing to root his evo 4g sprint model. And the hboot isnt working. I would like to help him but i dont know much about his phone. I was wondering if there is a way to root it without any apps or onetouch... the way it was.done before it got.so simple?

    Root it through a custom recovery and zip file. Pretty easy. Hold on, I'll go get my link.
