NO SPEED INCREASE WITH 1.4 PRI UPDATE

finally after 7 hours of work, got my PRI updated to 1.4 and got all my original stuff back and I am updated to the tilt with all current version of everything.

I just finished my speed tests and have found that this 1.4 PRI update has done nothing to increase my 3g speed.

Backstory:

My speed at work dropped from 1mb in June to 125kb (looks like it is capped) two weeks ago. I have done everything in my power to fix it. Nothing has worked and Sprint is not saying anything.

Are you running the stock Kernel?

I noticed when I flashed netarchy 4.0.2 kernel my 3g speeds went to crap. I flashed back to the stock kernel and 3g speeds when back up.

i could be wrong, but having the newest pri would only help some if you are in low coverage area, from what i saw last on xda no one had a true understanding of what the pri completely does

yeah, i'll second that. i finally was able to get my PRI updated and my speeds still suck. i'm on the stock kernal. i'm lucky if i get 200k down. which is pretty messed up because my buddy can be standing right next to me with his original Droid and he get's like 1.2meg down. i like being on Sprint and i definately love this phone, but damn, 200k down

I actually get double 4g download speed (via speedtest results) with the 1.34 PRI. I tried 10 times to get 1.40 (##code# methods), but I think I'm staying on this one.
