Not necessarily...it's just saying that the exploit that was used to root the Droid 2 will also work on the EVO 2.2. They would use this exploit as a stepping stone or a path to gain root...shouldn't be long.

Be careful with this one guys...it uses Unrevoked FOREVER. This will open up your phone with no way to bring it back to factory stock as of now...possibly FOREVER. Please read up on Unrevoked Forever before doing this method.
