Help with SetCPU and VaelPak

Everytime I set setCPU to the max, it freezes my phone and I have to reinstall the ROM. but if I set setCPU at around 105000 on the max side. it runs fine. Anyone know what I am doing wrong.

Your phone probably just cant handle higher clock speeds, thats all. Just dont set it any higher.

Ditto, experiment with frequencies incrementally. And make sure to uncheck "set on boot" when you're experimenting.

1.15GHz is the OC rate responsible dev's are going with because most phones will lockup/bootloop on anything higher.

How do u fix the loop once it begins. I was trying to raise the max setting using Set cpu and got caught in a loop. I did have the reboot option checked. Maybe that was the problem.

Ya it's def not the rom. It's the kernel. I can set mine to 1190 with no problem. But not matter what kernel I use the moment it hits 1228 it locks up. The best thing to do is when you reboot your phone, as soon as you can open set pcu and lower the cpu numbers.
