Baked Snack 1.7 ROM

I installed this Rom today and so far I like it but when I did the encore test for my FPS I still got 29.5. Do I still have to install a kernel because I thought the kernel that was embedded in the BS ROM had already removed the fps cap?? And for my second question how do I do wireless tethering, I installed wireless tether app from the market but my computer still can not get a signal, it finds my phone but no signal...all help is greatly appreciated,thanx

As for the kernel, use the app called fps2d.

Make sure your 3G is on when you try too tether.
