Ok, so Im in the process of restoring all my apps and data (210 instances) and it is asking me permission to install EVERY single app, this is going to take forever! Tell me there is a way around this please.

Use app brain instead of titanium. Problem solved.
Some say the glass is half empty. Some say its half full. I say, "Are you going to drink that?" - 10-24-2010, 01:06 AM #3

It does, but you have to pay for the full version of the app, and it doesn't always work. There are plenty of people that never have any problems but on the same hand there's enough people that do that's kept me away from it. AppBrain has worked for me flawlessly since I've been using it. I highly recommend it.

App brain does not back up data though does it? Im talking about UI setup and all personalized settings within the OS not just apps.

Right, appbrain only reinstalls your apps. All settings that weren't stored on your SDcard or somewhere in the cloud are history.
I use Ti backup, although probably at least 50% of my settings do survive a Factory wipe. The other 50% makes it worth registering Ti backup to get batch mode. - 10-25-2010, 05:12 PM #7
Titanium is great in my book, you can also use it to remove system apps and attach/detach apps from their market link.

I restored with Ti last night and it only asked for install on about 50% of the stuff the others it just restored it. Was a very easy and nice way for me restore everything back.
I have appbrain too but haven't restored with it yet....maybe on the next 1 - 10-26-2010, 02:13 PM #9

The paid version of titanium is probably the best $4 bucks you can spend for your phone. With the batch processing you can easily backup and/or restore all your apps in a couple clicks. A must have for anyone who moves between ROMS.
As others have said, in addition to restoring your apps, it restores all of your data as well including cache & other settings. It can also restore your home screens and sense widgets to their correct places. Makes switching roms nearly painless! - 04-16-2011, 07:50 PM #11
Everything
So when you guys are saying it restores everything, I am now thinking you mean EVERY bit, as in email accounts, email settings, home pages, apps plus data, SMS, and all.
I am asking because in playing with new ROMS and Kernels I have found it necessary to wipe my phone, reflash a ROM and see all my data disappear, reflash because the bluetooth support fails repeatedly and on and on, and up until now I have been going through and manually reloading the WHOLE deal.
Give me hope, I bought the Pro Key of TI, should this work the way I am thinking?

You should also try "MyBackup Root". It backs up apps, app data, SMS and call logs nicely. You can back everything with just a couple of clicks and restore it with just a couple of clicks to. Plus its free!!! I've been using it for months now and love it.

I actually use MyBackup Root from the Market. It's free and can restore apps+data pretty quickly.

$4 is worth the batch ability and the ability to back up to drop box.
