Best ROM you have used?

I just got a new Evo from sprint about an hour ago, my last one took a dump. Anyways, I was thinking about putting Cyanogen on it. I went on their website, I have a couple questions.

1) Should I install 6.0 or 6.1?
2) What is the Google Addon? I'm assuming just google apps?

Last but not least.. what ROMs do you use, and which ones have you been most satisfied with?

for a sense ROM I really like Azrael

Cyanogen is the best rom ive used. Period.

To install it, use the latest stable release (6.1 RLC 2) or a nightly if youre feeling dangerous lol, and the google add-on is the google apps. The cant include them in the rom due to legal stuffs from google.

Easiest way to install it is to download rom manager from the market and download flash the rom and google apps at the same time from the same place. No muss no fuss.

BTW, you are fully rooted correct? This obviously requires it haha.

Yeah I'm +1 on Cyanogen, it's just fast and light - I like the inexus theme on top of it as well.

Cyanogen for AOSP (tho Vaelek should be releasing an AOSP ROM himself very soon)

I installed the stable version of Cyanogen 6.1

I am very happy with it, however there are a few things. I loved the HTC Dialer, with the quick search built in for contacts. Its quite a bit slower calling a contact from your contact list.

Also the keyboard was better in the stock version. it had the arrows to go left, right, up, down, etc. Better shortcuts as well.

Voicemail was a pain to get up and running.

Overall I am very happy with Cyanogen though.

where's the newest one at?

i still have 10 more posts to go

2.3 is running smoothly...i got GApps installed and i've synced everything...now i'm trying to see if i can get something to work...wish me luck

i would still like the new VaelPak since GB isn't stable enough to run every day on the phone...lol...i'm messing with GB tho...trying to use what d3x, my droid father, has teached me
