Clockwork Recovery update
Thats right, fire up rom manager and it should prompt you to update to v220.127.116.11
So far i notice a few subtle differences in the menus, and its a little faster wiping/navigating.
Im not sure, but hopefully this adds support for the newer Hboots, and newer hardware versions.
Edit-another update has been pushed, v18.104.22.168

Hey I gots, I actually just put this in a PC36IMG.zip in another thread for someone who had trouble updating. May be helpful here:
clockwork recovery v22.214.171.124 *Compatible with early hboots
clockwork recovery v126.96.36.199 *Newest version for hboot 2.10
To install, copy the PC36IMG.zip file to your sd card. Power down your phone, press the volume down button and power button at the same time, release your fingers only when the white screen turns on. If your phone is in bootloader it will pause for a second, read the file and ask if you want to update, press yes. If your phone boots to fastboot, select bootloader and hit yes to update after it scans the file.
You can also install any version of clockworkmod recovery through Rom Manager (I put these here because some folks here - me included - and over at XDA had some problems restoring with the new version of clockwork on old hboots).
I also tweeted @koush and asked about the partition updates, I'll update this post when/if he replies.

I used to live by ClockWork but everyone over at XDA said to use AmonRa Recovery. I check ROM manager and it was already updated for me. I think I set it for auto update."The worst foe lies within the self....."

When mine wasn't working, I was contemplating a restore and retrying to reflash...doubt if nandroid covers the actual recovery method though..I even tried flashing alternate clockword from ROM Mgr. and that didn't work for me either..maybe Rom related, could install alternate Rom, then try to update...then go back to good Rom...if it's possible...
EDIT: see 188.8.131.52 in Rom Manager...maybe fixed.
EDITEDIT: Flashed 184.108.40.206 from Rom Manager and it worked right away...and it's orange...version number definitely issue there.

I uninstalled rom manager and reinstalled rom manager and now from rom manager I can initiate a back up or a restore. Before this I was getting a bott loader loop. Also if I initiated a "reboot into recovery" from rom manager it would get to recovery, but on the way there I would see an awful screen of color looking like an original Nintendo game that froze up.

Arghhh! I uninstalled ROM MGR and reinstalled. Saw the new 220.127.116.11 and flashed through Rom Mgr. Stuck in bootloader again. So went back and flashed PC.zip file back to good 2.? version, updated to 18.104.22.168, which works in Rom Mgr. When I reboot from the Orange recovery in 22.214.171.124 I get the crazy color screen as well, but it does reboot."Now I may be an ***** but there is one thing I am not, sir and that, sir is an *****." -Peter Griffin

I am having an issue as well. I used Unrevoked 3 to Root (which installed Clockwork. I updated Clockwork thru ROM Manager today to 126.96.36.199. When I boot into Recovery thru ROM Manager it still says 188.8.131.52. I have rebooted the EVO an few times and that does not help. In ROM Manager it says the version is 184.108.40.206. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same issue. Does anyone know what the issue could be. My recovery screen is still green. Thnaks
Don't use freds p36 zip anymore, its been updated after that, I have the 3.0 version and it works fine. Update through rom manager.
Clockworkmod DOES wipe dalvik.
The only thing amon does that clockworkmod can't is it backs up your wimax partition, so I always keep 1 nandroid from among ra just in case I mess up my 4g.
Clockworkmod works fine. Some say the glass is half empty. Some say its half full. I say, "Are you going to drink that?"
