CM 6.1.2 mod... NOT SENDING TEXT ANYMORE!

I just changed from myn's rom to CM 6.1.2..

Everything was going great until my text messages stopped working about thirty minutes ago. I tried rebooting and everything but how can I fix this problem?
I write the text but it keeps saying, "sending."

Clear data in the messaging app thru settings?

i dont know much about either of those or the evo for that matter, but did you make sure it all has compatible modems and kernels?

What happened was you sent a 2page (or more) message using the stock messaging app. It has been a long standing bug, so the only way around it is to NOT send 2+ page texts on stock, or simply use Handcent. Handcent is the easy way around.

To actually FIX the sending problem, I had to restore. I suppose a factory reset might do the trick also.

Damn I tried everything, but Kekoh you're right... I searched a lot of other threads and there's a bug for the stock CM 6.1.2 messaging.

I guess I'll go back to VaelPak if the text isn't working after I try clearing the data and etc... I backed up my other rom with clockswork mod, so I'll do that.

I would just use handcent or chompSMS, they're both free and way better than the stock aosp sms app.

Some threads said I first have to wipe cache/data again to have it working even with Handcent...
