NEED HELP!!! Just unrooted phone but its on 2.1

I just unrooted my evo and applied the zip from this site below

Return back to factory condition. - xda-developers

but now its on 2.1 and wont update to froyo or last version of. It actually keeps download the same update OTA_Supersonic_1.32.651.6-1.1_releasebbizq8hiqpkwmtnk.zip ..

I have applied that update like called 1.32.651.6 like 4 times but it seems to be in a constant loop. Please help all I want to do is return it to stock froyo just in case i have to send it back to HTC

yes i have tried to do system update (ota) and it says no update is there

thats because the file you used to go back to stock was the original image for the evo...and when the evos first came out they were running eclair 2.1....hence why you do not have 2.2 installed.

hmmmmm i thought u couldnt down grade. interesting.

on a good note the long root method for 2.1 is pretty easy

You didn't really provide a lot of information.

Use the latest RUU to flash to the 3.70 version of the software:
Shipped ROMs

Use these directions:

I just want to make sure I got this right. The RUU listed above is the last verison for the EVO. And will this update from HTC like normal without a root on it
