Sporadic market crashes on CM6.1.2

I have an older version of the market, 1.8.5 I believe, and I'm getting force closes each time an application notifies that it has installed. I tried installing a newer version by adb but no luck. Flashed a few separate zip packages from xda with no luck either. Those install, but won't even launch past accepting terms. I cleared market data before each attempt. Re flashed Gapps, but still getting force closes.

Thoughts?

Can you un-install market updates from manage apps?

All I have under manage apps is Market 1.82 and Market Updater 1.0. I just flashed this ROM yesterday. The market worked fine until I tried manually updating it.

Alright so I gave this another go, cleared data from Manage Apps, then cleared Dalvik Cache in Clockworkmod, then flashed "Vending-2.2.7-testkeys-signed.zip" from xda and as before, this one crashes after I hit "Accept" for the terms.

How do I get a fully functional market back on this?

Edit: Wiped all market versions with Titanium Backup (Took multiple reboots), then installed the Vending.apk from the Gapps package for 6.1.2 via ADB. I still can't get 2.26 working, but at least 1.82 is fixed now and I don't get any crashes from notifications of market installations. I guess I can deal with this old version of the market for now, unless anyone has suggestions.
