Data loss?

I have an Evo that has build number 3.70, does this mean that I can't root my Evo using unrevoked without losing my data? I've looked through the forums but haven't found any useful information, thanks alot.

thefredelement already answered this question from another post you had about this.
You can use unrevoked without losing data.
I rooted that way and I lost nothing.

If you think you will lose your contacts in your phone you wont. Plus, you should have them synced with google
