HTC Sync

Everytime I try to Sync my phone w/ the Gmail mail server... It duplicates ALL of my contacts in my phone. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or does this system just Suck?? I like the phone better, but I never, ever had this issue w/ my iphone. It also does the same thing when I try to sync w/ Outlook as well.

Can someone help??

I think it's because you have your contacts in your gmail account which gets sycned automatically over the cloud and also on your computer.

I don't use HTC Sync myself so though so hopefully someone with more experience with it can hop in and confirm.

Have you signed into your gmail account on your laptop and clicked on Contacts then "more actions" pull down menu then "find and merge duplicates" that could help also
