cyanogen quits Android!

was just posted on cyanogen's twitter. "I quit Android."

This is a real shame as I have really enjoyed the improvements. they have made to Android. I'm not sure as to where this leaves AOSP development.

I will be taking over as lead for the CM7 project. Going to be redesigning the ui giving it a simpler look and easier feel. First thing that will be implemented is the total wipe of everything, we're starting anew.

Having the total combined experience of 12 minutes dedicated to Andriod rom development we are going to bring CM7 beyond it's current potential.

We feel good that today will bring about a new world to the CM users and it's good natured ability to be a flawless project.
