I'm using a rooted EVO and Calkulins Rom 1.8. I've installed several times and had the same thing happen. Don't know why. I get everything set up, everything is working. I download updates to my existing apps from App Brain and install them. The next time I turn my phone on and off, it then freezes at the HTC EVO white screen. I have to pull the battery and then do a recovery. Anyone experiencing the same and does anyone have a solution besides not updating the apps?

I have read before to wipe data, data cache and Data in Recovery before flashing any ROM. I think this may be your issue, not 100% sure though.

As always, Nand backup and Titanium Backup just in case.

hhmmmm....ive used cualkin's before but never had that happen though....well it seems u have wiped bcause u prolly wouldnt have gotten past the splash screen.....could be the ROM ya know....i would head over to XDA and send him a PM....he's a cool dood and would be willing to help ya out
