Was it the rooted stock ruu?

If so then you just lost your recovery and you need to flash back.

The ruu removed root access as well as any custom recovery you had on there. It's not possible to run one of your nandroids unless you re root.

Why go to all that trouble and take off your current rom? Doesn't seem to have anything to do with a cracked screen.

OP wants to take it back and see if he can get it fixed.... if his phone is rooted, he won't be able to get it fixed (rooting voids warranties) hence reverting back to stock

    ROM: CM 7.0.3.1 build

The manufacturer is who your warranty is with. In Sprint S/R shops, rooted phones aren't treated any differently in regards to service and repair. If a tech tells you otherwise, have them look up the official methods and procedures for rooted phones posted by Sprint in early April.
